I like to collect and make different granny squares. I join them in a throw or blanket. Doing different squares keeps it from getting boring. This square looks a bit challenging but I really like the result. Thank you for the pattern.

I have been Trying to do this... Im having a hard time with the start. It always seems like I end up with a hole or the colors getting broke. Any ideas or suggestions would be great. I am new at the whole crochet thing.. but have been doing some other stuff too. Thanks!

What a cool granny square that is not a granny square at all! I want to see more of these spiral designs! Wow, the black sets off that "Mexicana" colorway in the best way possible. Also, think of lightening this up by using a WHITE with the Mexicana yarn. Suddenly you've created an afghan suitable for a baby's room! Bright and fun like a rainbow.

This is very different and very easy. I really like the look of it. If I use the colors shown, I think it would be a great present for a guy or a man cave. Nothing sissy or feminine here. It has a more male look to me. Thanks for sharing this one.

I can see a complete afghan now. I really like the idea but I know a whole lot of black would not work for me. I think my major color will being something warmer and I plan to make half of them with the main color and the other half with the color changing yarn and sew them together in a design. I can't wait to get started.

Very unique. I like the concept and was interested in making this. The pictures show that the use of stitch markers is necessary and I always have issue with those. But then I read over the directions and I feel like I can do this. This is really going to make an interesting square.
